About Us

Sammamish Chinese School is a non-profit organization that was formed in the year 2000. The school is committed to providing high-quality childcare and educational services to families in Sammamish and the surrounding communities, including but not limited to high-quality Chinese Learning classes, Math classes, Art classes, English Writing classes, Ping-Pong classes, Coding classes, Before/After school care, as well as summer/winter and no-school-day camps. In order to meet the needs of families in our community for bilingual early childhood education, and based on our experience in running the school for more than 20 years, we plan to start the bilingual preschool program in September 2024. Our program is to provide high-quality, developmentally appropriate child care in a nurturing, safe, and supportive environment.

Our program is designed to promote each child’s own individual social, emotional, physical, cognitive and academic development. As caregivers and educators, our mission is to provide a safe and developmentally appropriate learning environment, that fosters a child’s natural desire to explore, discover, create, and become a lifelong learner.

• Learning in each area is interconnected. Young children learn best through experiences, which incorporate several areas of development.
